Midtown Church’s vision is to make and mature disciples of Jesus Christ, and to instill into these disciples missional living. The end result is disciples who are making disciples.
Midtown’s service is an upbeat time of worship with a full band to lead us in praise and worship music that includes many modern songs, with a splash of songs from the past, that lasts about hour and fifteen minutes. When it comes time to crack open the Bibles, you will find preaching that blends a thorough look into theology (truth) driven by application (what I do with the truth) points.
We are a well mixed crowd, covering all age ranges. We provide child care and children ministry from the littlest of ones to 10 years old. We aim to make the worship service family friendly, therefore encouraging older children to participate with us if they are able.
Midtown Church began with two families sitting in a living room in August 2011. We had a common interest, and that was to see the Gospel preached and carried forth in the church and beyond. We prayed and felt God’s call to begin Bible Studies on Sunday Nights. On January 8th, 2012, we moved from a living room to two community rooms at the New Rodes Park in West Melbourne, Florida.
March 26th 2012, we officially became a Southern Baptist Church apart of the Brevard Baptist Association.
April 1st 2012, We held an ordination ceremony for our first Lead Pastor; Greg Harris.
On Easter, April 8, 2012, We had our first Sunday morning service at 10:30am.

Rodes park in West Melbourne to 2450 Aurora Rd, Melbourne Fl. 32935, holding our first service in our new facility on June 3rd, 2012.
We have reached an awesome milestone on August 27th, 2012. The transition team, which was comprised of leaders from both churches, have finished and unanimously voted on By-Laws for Midtown Church, Inc. You can view those By-Laws.
On January 13th, 2013, Midtown installed our initial leadership board. This board consisted of 3 elders and 2 deacons. To read more about those who are elading Midtown, visit our “Leadership” page under “About Us”.
